Better healthcare, quality healthcare in Nigeria- Yes we can!!!

Dear All,

Society for Quality in Healthcare in Nigeria (SQHN), is inviting members of the public from all works of life to join us in ensuring a better healthcare delivery system.

SQHN is a not-for-profit organization incorporated in the year 2006 to help promote and facilitate a culture of quality improvement, excellence and leadership in the most efficient and effective manner in  healthcare for better  health outcomes and increase confidence in the Nigerian health sector.

Our mission is to lead, advocate and facilitate the continuous improvement of quality and safety in healthcare in Nigeria through Education, Collaboration, Training & Accreditation.

There is a growing awareness that to achieve the best outcomes, patients and families must be more actively engaged in decisions about their care and must have  access to information and support. Hence the health care system must be fully redesigned to endeavor the collaborative efforts of many stakeholders and partnerships at many levels to ensure the need for patient involvement for a better clinical outcome.

To set this collaborative process in motion, SQHN is calling on all interested individuals-, patients and their families, health care professionals, health care administrators, planners and policymakers, third-party payers, and government agencies both young and old to come join hands with us to promote a sustainable quality system in healthcare in Nigeria.

SQHN seeks to promote the principles and practices of quality improvement and risk management in healthcare by providing a national voice on quality improvement and risk management initiatives in healthcare in Nigeria.
