CALL FOR PAPERS FOR THE 3RD SQHN CONFERENCE

The Society for Quality in Healthcare in Nigeria invites all Members to submit Abstracts for the upcoming Conference in 2011 with the theme of Guidelines.

All submissions should be geared towards improving quality standards in Healthcare institutions in Nigeria and should revolve around Guidelines, as this is the focal point of the Conference.

GUIDELINES, SAFETY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR HEALTHCARE QUALITY IMPROVEMENT

• Developing, Implementing and Evaluating Guidelines
• The need to educate and train healthcare professionals on guidelines
• Guideline implementation for improved patient experience and engagement
• Measuring Performance
• Excellent customer service, its impact on quality improvement
• Importance of safety culture and its implementation

Abstracts may be in form of oral and /or poster presentations should be sent in the format specified below:

1. 1.          Abstract
2. 2.         Objective: Describe the specific purpose of the Study in one sentence
3. 3.         Methods: Make use of Recent study only
4. 4.       Results: Summarize the result from the study with adequate evidence to support your conclusion.
5. 5.         Conclusions:  all conclusions should address the following;
   1. a.       Author’s Opinion
   2. b.      Achieved objectives
   3. c.       New knowledge gained from the study.
   4. d.      Implications of the study.
